The U.S. Department of Defense has produced a single page, factual, no-punches-pulled bird flu brochure--and it is excellent! It is also very easy to download / print to give **or mail anonymously** to doubtful friends, family and colleagues.
AlaskaDenise (!Thank you for this great find!) found this brochure about a week ago and posted a link to this double sided tri-fold brochure (see the original link at the bottom of this post.)
** The very real and significant risk of BF
** Protecting oneself and family from infection
** Warning about the possibility of major utility, banking, school, transportation
and store closures
** Warning to prepare for extended pandemic with non perishable food, water, medications
** Forming support groups
** Personal hygiene "how to's"
** What type of mask to buy and how to wear them
It had one major cosmetic flaw that has now been fixed--the front and back didnt line up just right when folded into thirds--but they now do.
You can download and print the corrected brochure by clicking on the 2 attached graphic files (one for the front side of the brochure, and one for the back.)
It prints so that you can fold the brochure into a tri-panel so that its neatly fits into a standard envelope.
