Dow futures tumble 400 points as coronavirus spreads

New York (CNN Business)US stock futures dropped sharply Monday as concerns grew over the spread of a deadly coronavirus.
Dow (INDU) futures fell by over 400 points, or 1.4%. S&P 500 (INX) futures were down about 1.4% and Nasdaq (COMP) futures were lower by about 1.9%.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 (N225) ended with a loss of 2%. It was the only major stock market in east Asia open Monday due to the Lunar New Year. Major markets in Europe posted losses of roughly 2%, with luxury goods brands and travel stocks particularly hard hit.
