In Wuxia Spring, Jiangxia, a citizen said that around 12:30 noon, he heard a loud noise in the air, like a thunder.

Video does not show man sickened by new virus in China

CLAIM: Video shows a man on a train vomiting a massive amount of blood after being infected with the new respiratory virus sweeping China.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. The video is almost a year old and the man on the train is battling liver cancer.

THE FACTS: The video has circulated widely on social media with claims that the man has the new virus sickening thousands in China. One false post with the video states: “CoronaVirus Gastric Bleeding.”

A Facebook post claimed that the video is a part of a series of “videos in the past 24 hours of people vomiting vast amounts of blood prior to dying.” On Twitter, a user falsely posted that the video was filmed in Sichuan, China. It had more than 90,000 views.

In the video, the man is sitting on the train with blood splattered at his feet. He then faints and a passenger puts him on the floor of the train.

The video was filmed Feb. 14, 2019, on Chongqing Rail Transit in Chongqing, China. The interior of the train matches that of cars used by the transit system. At the time of the incident, Chongqing Rail Transit posted to their verified Weibo account that the man was suffering from liver cancer.

This person has been posting a video journal of his wife's COVID-19 infection. She was doing better but then was hospitalized. This is apparently the last video for awhile so that the husband can spend more time helping his wife who is quarantined. I don't understand how he is going to help her exactly...

Anyway...since she has been in the hospital he is wearing surgical masks inside his apartment even when she is not there. I am not sure what is going on. He is a professional photographer so he does not use anyone else to help him. His videos appear to be made without any one assisting him.
