Zombie mascot is brilliant.
Another media jumper is NatGeo's Doomsday Preppers. High ratings but the show is a little intense. The Colony is another example, they called the zombies "marauders".

Meanwhile the "Devil's Breath" is being used recreationally, and in crimes. The powder blown into the face of victims renders them into willing "zombies"... so the threat is real!!! ;-)

I've always considered the CDC a counting organization, so their information is helpful... after the fact. jmho.
