just kidding, I've checked out your site, it's a lot of work.
where do you get your stats from?
naming yourself after the virus makes me want to ask questions that all of us want answers on...
like.... "why now"
"how deadly will you become?"
"what are the chances of you just quietly disappearing in the night?"
I don't honestly know how to answer this. It's late here in the Czech Republic and I don't want to go to bed all wound up.
I guess that I?ll just say this. I have a hobby of working with web sites. I?m just an old guy sitting in the mountains, creating electricity from a nearby stream, and playing on the computer. I was 39 years old before I turned my first computer on and if I have problems I ask my 15 year old daughter.
I realized that this topic was serious and discussed the site before hand with my wife full knowing that the worse the situation evolved the more popular our site would be. We decided that if we can provide helpful information that other ?official sites? did not then it was worth the effort. I also look at two other facts - I am learning a lot about creating web pages and working with databases and at the same time informing myself as to the H1N1 virus. My wife thinks that I am overdoing it by purchasing a few extra non perishable foodstuffs as we do our weekly shopping. I figure that if we make it through the winter alright then we?ll use the food in the spring.
If the H1N1 S**t does hit the roof then I consider our family in a good position. We live in the forest, miles from the nearest neighbor, create our own electricity (11-13 kw), heat with wood (got a two year supply), have two ponds (one of which I could fish from a living room window) full of brown and rainbow trout, and am now building up our foodstuffs (including about 200 kg of potatoes from our garden in Sept. or Oct.).
I really do, believe it or not, hope that H1N1 dies out and not another single person dies from it. I?m afraid however that it will develop and get worse. I do not attempt in any way to raise panic levels or apply sensationalism on my site.
Concerning my source for numbers. As you probably know both the CDC and WHO have discontinued their individual statistics. I am now getting country statistics from the European version of the CDC.

I update my numbers on Fridays but today?s numbers are about 3700 higher than last Friday. They don?t give you an statistical overlook the way my site does either.
