6 cases of H1N1 detected in the last week of December.
Mexico City .- The Directorate of Epidemiological Surveillance and Intelligence detected in the city government last week of December 6 new cases of H1N1 influenza , which were confirmed in early January at the local health system.
Three cases were detected in adults who attended the health centers of the city government, which have already been registered in the Single Platform Influenza Health Secretariat ( SSA ) federal.
In the six cases detected, none of whom had a history of vaccination, patients received appropriate medical care, treatment and care, so they had no serious complications and were discharged.
The Ministry of Health of Mexico City said the situation is not alert, so the Sanitary Epidemiological Semaphore remains green, as decided by the Scientific Committee members Sanitary Epidemiological local government.
Currently through health units maintaining surveillance and monitoring of seasonal influenza viruses, including the strain H1N1 , in order to take measures for prevention and control, and to identify the types and subtypes circulating virus, he said.
