Dengue is a Flavivirus, like Hepatitis C.
Positive strand RNA-virus.
It has one segment of length ~10700 nucleotides.

I took those which have a collection date and >9000 nucleotides.
That gave
1132 times Dengue 1
734 times Dengue 2
500 times Dengue 3
78 times Dengue 4
I picked Dengue 3 and distinguished 5 subclades
with one big recombination (?) near the end at position ~10700
I picked the biggest subclade with 296 genomes and cut the tail.
The mutation picture looks a lot like flu
but apparantly fewer mutations

looks like flu-A accumulates ~5 times more mutations than Dengue 3
