The majority of confirmed cases in the past few weeks have been under age 50 (and the majority of those 5-24 years)

The majority of hospitalizations in the past few weeks have been 65 years and older and for A/H3.

1,147 of the 1,470 (78.0%) confirmed influenza cases were type A. (Of these, 557 (48.6%) were subtype 2009 H1, and 507 (44.2%) were subtype H3N2.
The remaining 83 (7.2%) were of unknown subtype.)
323 of the 1,470 (22.0%) confirmed influenza cases were type B.
