Ortega admitted that there has been a surge in Nicaragua AH1N1

MANAGUA, NICARAGUA .- The President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, announced today that since early this week is submitted along with his entire family to a preventive medical treatment because the human influenza viruses affecting their grandchildren.

"I did not show up in the positive-test results, but we were given preventive treatment until the first of September, so was unable to attend" Tripoli said.

The president was scheduled to participate in commemorating the 40th anniversary of the revolution in the Arab country.

Human influenza caused four deaths in this country, a thousand 205 infections of which 134 persons remain under specialist treatment to a bulletin of the Ministry of Health.

He said he apologized to the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, in a telephone conversation on Friday, because due to outbreaks of the epidemic "was not possible to go to Libya."

Days ago, the presidents of Costa Rica, Oscar Arias and Colombia, Alvaro Uribe, had been infected with the H1N1 virus.
