Dallas County announces second pediatric flu death

Dallas County Health and Human Services confirmed Tuesday that a 10-year-old resident?s death was flu-related. It is the second pediatric death for the 2013-2014 flu season.

The county received the report from a local hospital. No identity was released for patient confidentiality reasons.

Fifty-two adult flu deaths also were reported here since last fall...
