This latest chain was found in Limassol and involves four children and an adult, who seems to be the one that transmitted measles to one of the minors.
According to philenews sources, one of the children was treated and released, while three remain hospitalised, one at the Limassol General paediatrics ward and two at Makareion in Nicosia.
The measles chain was spotted when the first child to be infected developed a rash, while hospitalised for a different ailment. The relevant protocol was implemented and through a contacts check it was established that an adult had infected them...
