CSPAN has hour of International Swine Flu Conference, Replikins info chilling

Re: CSPAN has hour of International Swine Flu Conference, Replikins info chilling

This was really interesting, especially the guy from Replikins. It's incredible that they could forecast that H1N1 would take off almost a year before it happened. Thanks for posting it!

Re: CSPAN has hour of International Swine Flu Conference, Replikins info chilling

The H1N1 that Replikans were looking at last year was the old seasonal H1N1, while our new H1N1 is swine based and I believe contains little to none of the genetics from seasonal H1N1. (someone correct me if I have that wrong)

Unless they make that distinction and can explain why increases in repliken count of one strain can cause another one to go pandemic, I'm uncomfortable with their claims.

However, their concern about H9N2 is shared by many experts - for good reason.
