  1. Coronavirus Croatia – 86 new cases of Covid-19 in Croatia – Zagreb sees spike with 31 new cases
Over the past 24 hours in Croatia there have been 86 new cases of Covid-19 recorded with the capital Zagreb seeing a spike with 31 new cases detected. The total number of active cases in Croatia is now 738, and among them 127 patients are hospitalized and nine people are on a ventilator. Over the past 24 hours no new fatalities due to the virus have been recorded.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 5,224 people have been infected with Covid-19 to date, of whom 145 have died and 4,341 have recovered.

The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Croatia continues to fall with 24 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours, reports the Civil Protection Headquarters. There are now 647 active cases of Covid-19 in the Republic of Croatia, among which there are 117 patients in hospital and 7 people on a ventilator. Unfortunately, one person has passed away in the past 24 hours bringing the death toll to the virus in Croatia to 154.

Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 5,318 people have been infected with Covid-19, of whom 154 have died and 4,517 have recovered. There are currently 2490 people in self-isolation.

In the past 24 hours, 91 new cases of Covid-19 infection were recorded, and the number of currently infected (active cases) in Croatia today is a total of 618.

Among them, 115 patients are in hospital, of which 5 are on a respirator, and unfortunately two more people have passed away due to the virus.

Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 5,740 people have been infected with Covid-19, of whom 160 have died and 4,962 have recovered.

In the past 24 hours, 199 new cases of Covid-19 virus infection were recorded in Croatia, and the number of active cases today has reached a total of 1,371.

There are currently 120 patients in hospital and 11 people are on a ventilator, thankfully there have been no fatalities in the past 24 hours.

Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 6,855 people have caught the virus and which 166 have unfortunately passed away and 5,318 people have made a full recovery.

Poland will ban flights from 46 countries from September 2, and Croatia is among those affected, according to a draft law released on Thursday, as the country struggles with an increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus.

Coronavirus Croatia – second worst day for new Covid-19 cases in Croatia – 357 new cases – 3 fatalities

In the past 24 hours, Croatia has recorded 357 new cases of Covid-19, the second worst day for new infections since the pandemic begun.

There are now 2,560 active cases across Croatia, and among them 212 patients in hospital and 11 people on a ventilator.

Unfortunately, over the past 24 hours three people have died due to the virus, from Zadar, Split and Vinkovci.

To date, a total of 9,549 people have been reported to have contracted Covid-19, from which 180 have passed away and 6,809 have made a full recovery.

This is a record daily number of newly infected people in Croatia. The previous record was on August 26 when we there were 358 new cases and two days later 357.

Out of the total number of infected, 269 patients are in hospital, of which 15 patients are on ventilators.

Unfortunately, over the past 24 hours three people have passed away.

Since February 25, 2020, when the first case of Covid-19 infection was recorded in Croatia, a total of 11,094 people infected with the new coronavirus, of whom 194 have died and 8,266 have recovered.
