Croatia - Covid-19: 13,107 cases, 211 deaths

ZAGREB, May 15, 2020 – There has been 1 new COVID-19 case reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, the national crisis management team said at Friday’s press conference.

Today’s new case brings the total tally of cases to 2,222.

There have been 1,869 recoveries to date, 19 more than yesterday. This means there are currently 258 known active cases. There are 142 people currently in hospital, 4 less than yesterday, with 8 patients currently on a ventilator.

Since late February, Croatia has conducted 51,568 tests, including 1,228 in the last 24 hours.

There has been one COVID-19-related fatality in the last 24 hours, a female patient at KBC Spit hospital (born in 1923) The current death toll stands at 95.

The number of new cases in the Republic of Croatia in the 24-hour period is zero, which means that the total number of people who have been infected in Croatia since the pandemic began remains at 2,244.

So far, 62422 people have been tested, of which 940 were tested in the last 24 hours.

There are 3 fewer hospitalized cases, which means that 78 people are in hospital. Out of that, 6 patients are on a ventilator.

The total number of people who have made a full recovery is 2,035, of which is 8 patients have made a recovery in the past 24 hours.

One person died in the past 24 hours, at the General Hospital in Koprivnica. The total number of deaths in Croatia due to Covid-19 now stands at 100

One new case of Covid-19 has been confirmed in the Republic of Croatia in the past 24 hours bring the total number of Covid-19 in the country since the pandemic began to 2,246.

The National Staff has issued a new statement on coronavirus in Croatia today saying that “In the last 24 hours, one new case has been confirmed. Out of a total of 2,246 people who have contracted the virus since the pandemic began 2,063 people have made a full recovery. One hundred and three people have died. And a further 80 people are being treated.”
