Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever case registered in South Kazakhstan

ASTANA. A resident of Ulanbel village, Moinkum district, Zhambyl region, got a diagnosis of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever that has been confirmed, Ministry of Emergencies of RK has informed Kazakhstan Today.

The Ministry of Emergencies of RK has explained that the condition of the patient is medium gravity. Antiepidemic measures are currently carried out in the nidus of infection.

The 23-year old man was hospitalised in the infection hospital of Taraz with preliminary diagnosis "Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever" on 7 May
