According to the most recent report by the New Mexico Department of Health, deaths from vaccinated individuals from Nov. 15 to Dec. 13 are now in the double digits at 18.4%.
The November report showed from Oct. 11 to Nov. 8 there were only six deaths connected to vaccinated individuals, making up only 4.9% of deaths during that time period.
The new data is suggesting deaths among the vaccinated in New Mexico are on the rise, as the Omicron variant enters the picture...
Numbers look better for the vaccinated in the latest update 12-20. Back down to 12.6%. My guess is that the increase of deaths in the vaccinated was from the Delta variant as I look at the timing and trends in these reports. Hopefully Omicron is reversing the worrisome trend.
