Country with no new cases since December [/B

]Maputo, Mozambique does not report new cases of Influenza A H1N1 since December 2010, when the disease has killed two people a total of more than 13 suspected cases reported today (Thursday) the health authorities country.



According to the spokesman of the Ministry of Health of Mozambique, Leonardo Chavana, "as the Influenza A, the country is following the global trend, which is regression.



"We have not made any more case since December. Neither suspect nor deaths," he said Leonardo Chavana.




Despite the Influenza A is controlled, the Ministry of Health of Mozambique will not abandon the objective of carrying out vaccination campaigns in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO), in view of the arrival of winter in the country, from the second quarter of this year.




"It is possible that with the winter there is an upsurge of Influenza A, as with any bird," said Leonardo Chavana.
