Steering Committee meetings in cooperation programs with other agencies and international organizations on prevention of avian influenza in humans and has been held in Ha Noi, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Bui Ba Bong reaffirm commitment Links determination prevention of avian influenza of the Government of Vietnam, also said Vietnam will be the host country of the International Conference on Avian Influenza in April 2010.

Years, Vietnam has recorded five cases of influenza A/H5N1 in humans and most are related to birds.
This sentence refers to the 5 confirmed human H5N1 cases in Viet Nam in 2009.
