Avian A/H1N1/Vietnam three new deaths

HANOI, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) - Vietnam has confirmed three new deaths from the H1N1 flu, bringing the number of countries to 27 deaths, according to a report published Friday on the website of the Vietnamese Ministry of Health.
The first death is a woman of 60 years in the northern province of Bac Giang. The patient with fever and fatigue, was transported to a local hospital last September 30 before being transported in a provincial general hospital on 1 October with symptoms of pneumonia, diabetes and kidney damage . Three days later she was transferred to a hospital in Hanoi, because of respiratory deterioration.
She was pronounced dead October 9. His sample was tested positive for influenza A/H1N1.
The second death is a girl of 20 months in the central province of Da Nang. The baby was taken to hospital October 14 with fever and cough.
It was announced died October 20 due to the deterioration of internal organs. His sample also tested positive for influenza A.
The third death was a girl of 27 months in the southern province of Ben Tre.
The baby was first taken to a local hospital September 30 with fever, cough and breathing difficulties before being transported the same day in a provincial hospital because of his deteriorating health.
She was pronounced dead October 16 due to pneumonia and respiratory impairment. Its sample was also positive.
The total number of patients infected with influenza A in Vietnam rose to 10,349 so far, confirmed Friday the ministry.
