By imposing correct any misinformation conveyed in the Media following the press conference given yesterday, September 4, the Minister of Internal Affairs, by this way the Government reiterates the following:
There is not strictly a case of Ebola suspected or confirmed, in Cape Verde;
Also, there is no case of a citizen, national or foreign, placed under quarantine;
Merely, those from some of the countries affected by Ebola have been subject to monitoring by health authorities in the context of prevention and control in normal situations of the type and are in perfect harmony with the standards and recommendations of WHO in the field . Incidentally, is what other countries have done, and usually without any fuss;
