More than a quarter of the residents of the Carillon at Boulder Creek retirement community are believed to have been infected by a norovirus outbreak last week, but officials say no one is in serious danger and that the outbreak is being handled effectively.

Two of The Carillon's 119 residents tested positive for the virus, but 29 other residents, as well as 14 staff members, reportedly had symptoms of it.
