A less than a year, who died on May 26, becomes the first death from H1N1 in Valledupar. Health authorities decreed the alert yellow.
The small inhabitant of the barrio San Martin was hospitalized on May 21 at the Laura Daniela clinic with a picture of severe respiratory infection, but only until today the National Health Institute confirmed that was the disease.
'The Ministry of health made intervention to the family of the girl,' said the director of that portfolio, Holmer Jimenez Ditta.
Official noted that activated the alert yellow throughout the city and that of samples sent to the national health authority, is the only case that confirm.
