As of now, the southern Terai plains of Nepal, the cold has led to 18 deaths, only two days alone 12 people died of cold.
According to Nepal, "Kathmandu Post" Web site reported on the 4th, in the southern region of the Sapta County, 10 people died of cold, Ma Aota County, six people were killed and Tangxian two people were killed.
Most of the elderly and children dead.
According to Ma Aota County, the local hospital's doctors, pneumonia, flu, diarrhea and respiratory diseases as the most common diseases today.
Continued cold weather and dense fog to Neenan part of the country a significant impact on people's lives.
Ma Aota, the Saptari district, and most other schools have been closed, in the southern region because of heavy fog and the airport closed.
