IMO the best is usually to download the whole database and to run
your own programs on the data. Same with genbank. More flexible.

But it seems that they don't want it, don't support it.

I cannot easily do the worldmaps though, since I don't have
the geografical data.

I saw that paper recently, that A-infection induces some shortterm immunity
for B, analyzing the 25 last US-seasons, and I thought it should be examined
worldwide ....

I updated my file fnalk3 with 144 countries and weekly sample counts for 18 years for some countries. (week 20,2013)
[attached as fnalk3.gz, once the first person view or downloads it, I add some
explanations ...]

I looked at the charts, how H1 and H3 cocirculate and I thought that we need more detailed
information.
They should issue flu-sample-certificates with age,gender, exact location (city or coordinates),
day, outcome (serotype or negative), severety of infection, secondary conditions.
It should be possible with not so much effort.
Often the data exists in the labs, but WHO at flunet only wants the counts, so the details are stripped.
E.g. CDC has the counts for the 10 regions and China has it at least for N-, and S.- China bur
probably also splitted by province. South Africa looks as if the country were bipartite, fluwise.

Countries like USA,China are too big to throw everything in one pot, to just list the
sum only. E.g. there could be a H1-wave in one part of the country and a H3 wave in another,
the counts would not show this.

please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root
directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode"
attribute set to "Off".
