KUSA - Since the beginning of October, at least 21 Larimer County residents have been hospitalized with flu symptoms, putting local health officials on heightened alert.

Of those 21 confirmed hospitalizations, about two-thirds have been residents older than 65 years old, Larimer County Department of Health and Environment officials said Friday.
