Lima, nov. 08 (ANDINA) .- At this time of year when children tend to shed the heavy clothing due to temperature change, cases of acute respiratory infections (ARI) increase, warned doctors of the National Institute of Child Health ( SPGM).
"Emergencies come to 200 daily attention," said the director of this institution, known also as a former Children's Hospital, Roberto Shimabuku, who recommended parents to care for the health of their children.
He noted that the main recommendation in such cases is not self-medicating but taking them to the pediatrician. "Giving drugs without prescription is very delicate as it could cause resistance to antibiotics when you really need."
Referred in the months of November and December, when the temperature is changing, especially school is bleak and cold drinks taken, which is harmful to your health.
