On March 4, Zouping Central Hospital held an emergency drill for sudden death treatment. The Nursing Department and the Emergency Department organized the drill, and medical representatives from various departments participated and observed the drill. The drill simulated the patient's sudden cardiac and respiratory arrest. The emergency medical staff responded quickly, performed chest compressions, assisted ventilation with a simple respirator, and quickly transferred the patient to the emergency room. After intensive rescue, the patient's vital signs initially recovered and was then safely transferred to the ICU.
