People infected with highly pathogenic avian influenza monitoring
By (correspondent Liang Xiao) Recently, the CDC of the urban and rural areas live poultry markets, poultry farms scale (household), free-range poultry farmers to concentrate in areas of contact with poultry slaughtering poultry processing plants had a high-risk population groups of high pathogenic avian influenza monitoring.
In accordance with the requirements of the monitoring program, the District CDC people on these types of questionnaires to households, and 26 serum samples collected.
For further testing of these groups will help people grasp the highly pathogenic avian influenza infection sources, determine the risk factors and found that avian influenza virus pathogenicity and dissemination of the capacity to change, in order to formulate a scientific strategy for the prevention and control of influenza pandemic, as well as provide scientific basis for early warning.
