[TD="class: bt_content"] April 2015 (at 0:00 on April 1, 2015 to April 30 24), the province reported a total of 24,603 cases of legal infectious diseases, the death of 25 people. Among them, the CPI report no cases of infectious diseases. B infectious diseases, in addition to SARS, polio, highly pathogenic avian influenza, Japanese encephalitis, anthrax, epidemic cerebrospinal meningitis, diphtheria, leptospirosis, schistosomiasis incidence and deaths were reported, the remaining 17 kinds of infectious disease cases were reported 10,681 cases, 24 deaths; report incidence of the top five diseases were: tuberculosis, syphilis, viral hepatitis, gonorrhea, scarlet fever, representing B Class infectious diseases, 92.9% of the total cases.
Over the same period, the province of class C infectious diseases were reported in 13,922 cases reported one case of foot and mouth disease deaths. The top three reported cases of diseases were hand-foot-mouth disease, other infectious diarrhea and mumps, 95.8% of the total reported cases of class C infectious diseases.

HKSAR Gov. CHP notified of additional human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) in Mainland 10 May 2015
The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) today (May 10) received notification of four additional human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) with onset of symptoms between March 27 and April 12 from the National Health and Family Planning Commission, and again urged the public to maintain strict personal, food and environmental hygiene both locally and during travel.
The patients comprise two men and two women aged 5 to 67 and two of them (one man and one woman) died. Two cases are from Zhejiang, one is from Fujian and one is from Jiangsu.
From 2013 to date, 640 human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) have been reported by the Mainland health authorities. Regarding the third wave in the Mainland since November 2014, a total of 200 cases have been reported, including 72 in Guangdong, 40 in Fujian, 40 in Zhejiang, 18 in Jiangsu, eight in Anhui, seven in Xinjiang, six in Shanghai, three in Jiangxi, two in Hunan, two in Shandong, one in Guizhou and one in Hubei.
"Locally, we will remain vigilant and work closely with the World Health Organization and relevant health authorities to monitor the latest developments," a spokesman for the DH said.
The DH's Port Health Office conducts health surveillance measures at all boundary control points. Thermal imaging systems are in place for body temperature checks on inbound travellers. Suspected cases will be immediately referred to public hospitals for follow-up.
The display of posters and broadcast of health messages in departure and arrival halls as health education for travellers is underway. The travel industry and other stakeholders are regularly updated of latest information.
Travellers, especially those returning from avian influenza-affected areas with fever or respiratory symptoms, should immediately wear masks, seek medical attention and reveal their travel history to doctors. Health-care professionals should pay special attention to patients who might have had contact with poultry, birds or their droppings in affected areas.
The public should remain vigilant and take heed of the advice against avian influenza below:

* Do not visit live poultry markets and farms. Avoid contact with poultry, birds and their droppings;
* If contact has been made, thoroughly wash hands with soap;
* Avoid entering areas where poultry may be slaughtered and contact with surfaces which might be contaminated by droppings of poultry or other animals;
* Poultry and eggs should be thoroughly cooked before eating;
* Wash hands frequently with soap, especially before touching the mouth, nose or eyes, handling food or eating; after going to the toilet or touching public installations or equipment (including escalator handrails, elevator control panels and door knobs); and when hands are dirtied by respiratory secretions after coughing or sneezing;
* Cover the nose and mouth while sneezing or coughing, hold the spit with a tissue and put it into a covered dustbin;
* Avoid crowded places and contact with fever patients; and
* Wear masks when respiratory symptoms develop or when taking care of fever patients.

?Health Bureau said that the health sector in the Mainland latest announcement, the new two cases in Zhejiang, Fujian and Anhui each new H7N9 avian influenza case of human infection. According to sources, four people between March 27 to April 12 the date of onset, a patient is living in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang, 67 year-old male, before the onset of the live poultry market, the current situation is serious; another 52 years male, living in Jiashan County, home poultry before the onset of exposure, has died. Fujian patient was 5 years old girl, living in Quanzhou, involving poultry before the onset of the environment, it has been recovered. Anhui patient was 3 year-old boy living in Hefei, before the onset of the live poultry market is currently in a stable condition.
?Since 2013 to date, a total of at least 659 cases of confirmed human infection with H7N9 avian influenza, of which at least 229 cases of death. Area local infections since October 1, 2014 appear include: Beijing, Xinjiang, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Guangdong, Fujian, Jiangxi, Anhui, Hunan and Guizhou. In addition, Canada also recorded two cases of human infection with H7N9 imported cases of bird flu.
?Although there is not any human infection cases of Macao, but in order to get the maximum protection of people's health, the Government has launched an emergency response mechanism, to take a series of preventive measures. Health Bureau will continue and the country and neighboring areas in the health sector, World Health Organization keep in close contact, monitoring of the situation around and Macao, and through cross-sector and public-private partnerships, the neighborhood or Macau once bird flu preventive measures appear and preparation. According to the current situation, the health bureau is expected to continue for some time to the mainland will be more people infected with influenza A H7N9 bird flu, does not rule out cases in Macao Health Bureau has requested all medical institutions and medical personnel closely monitor if suspected cases, should be made to detect or referrals; but also made the following appeal to the whole Australian public:

Since the previous issue of Avian Influenza Report, 5 new human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) with onset of symptoms between March 27 and April 12 were reported by NHFPC. The cases were from Zhejiang (2), Fujian (1), Jiangsu (1) and Anhui (1). Since March 2013 (as of May 11, 2015), there were a total of 660 cases reported globally. The Government confirmed on January 27, 2014 that a number of samples from a batch of live chickens imported from a registered poultry farm in Shunde District of Foshan City in Guangdong were tested positive for H7N9 virus.
The Government found on December 30, 2014 a number of samples from a consignment of live chickens from a registered farm in Huicheng District of Huizhou in Guangdong tested positive for H7N9 virus.
