To further strengthen the hand, foot and mouth disease, avian flu people, influenza and other infectious diseases and occupational diseases prevention and control work, yesterday, the Ministry of Health held a video tele-conferencing, the prevention and control arrangements for the deployment of the recent work, the implementation of the prevention and control measures in our province.
This year January 1 to March 19, the province has reported a total of hand, foot and mouth disease 731 cases, no deaths, with the exception of Zhaotong City, the remaining 15 are Case Report City; 2009 no person in our province suffering from bird flu Case Report, but there is a high risk of importation of the epidemic, prevention and control of the situation is extremely grim; 3 months, the epidemic in our province Direct Network Report system, influenza outbreaks were reported in 3, the cumulative incidence of 197 cases and no deaths.
According to 2008 statistics, the province is now 10,030 cases of occupational diseases, of which 9779 cases of pneumoconiosis cases, the actual incidence may be even higher than the statistical data.
The face of severe infectious disease prevention and control of the situation, the Ministry of Health asked health departments at all levels must strengthen leadership, strengthen the monitoring, scientific assessment of the practical implementation of infectious diseases and public health emergency reporting system; in accordance with the "government leadership, prevention and treatment combination Department collaboration, public participation "principle, strengthen cooperation, share information and implement joint prevention and control mechanisms; intensive training, solid foundation, improve the level of professional medical treatment; enhance education, awareness-raising, and actively do a good job in prevention science and risk communication job; a well-established plans to implement measures and carry out sound emergency preparedness and disposal job and seriously investigate and handle violations of law.
