"The emergency drill for a large-scale power outage and unplanned ventilation stoppage at Baiyangling Coal Mine of China Coal Xiyang Energy Co., Ltd. is now commencing!" On July 16, with a command from the general commander, the live-fire drill jointly conducted by the State Grid Xiyang County Power Supply Company and Baiyangling Coal Mine officially began. This drill aimed to effectively improve the power grid company's rapid response and coordinated handling capabilities in dealing with sudden power outages at important customers, laying a solid foundation for energy supply security in the region during the peak summer season.
The drill was conducted strictly according to the established plan, focusing on testing the collaborative response capabilities of the power supply company and the coal mine in the event of a power grid failure. The mine's electromechanical team quickly started two large-capacity diesel generators at the substation, restoring emergency power to the mine's safety loads in just 7 minutes, prioritizing the operation of critical safety loads such as the main ventilation fan and personnel hoist. Simultaneously, the State Grid Xiyang County Power Supply Company, strictly following the "State Grid Xiyang County Power Supply Company Important Power Supply Incident (Customer Side) Emergency Plan," established an emergency response team composed of the "Taihang Dawn" Communist Party member service team. A medium-voltage generator was immediately dispatched to the 35kV Baiyangling substation to stand by, ready to connect emergency power at any time. The State Grid Xiyang County Power Supply Company's dispatch personnel monitored the power grid's operational status throughout the process, scientifically adjusted operating modes, and assisted the mine in troubleshooting. Through rapid response, the mine restored full power supply significantly ahead of schedule and safely withdrew from the emergency power supply. Throughout the entire process, both parties maintained clear dispatch instructions and standardized operating procedures, with no safety incidents occurring, achieving the expected results.
This drill further streamlined the information sharing, dispatch coordination, and technical cooperation processes between the power supply company and the coal mine during sudden power outages, and verified the practicality of the relevant emergency plans. Next, the State Grid Xiyang County Power Supply Company will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation with high-risk and important users such as coal mines within its jurisdiction, conduct regular joint drills, assist users in identifying potential power hazards, improve "one-household-one-policy" power supply protection measures, and effectively enhance the power grid's ability to respond to emergencies, ensuring the safe and reliable power supply for key users in the area.
