新 华社北京2月7日电（记者张毅、贾远琨）国家发展和改革委员会副主任、国家能源局局长张国宝７日对新华社记者表示，为了缓解?气荒?，解决国内天然气供应 不足的矛盾，国家将争取进口更多液化天然气（ＬＮＧ），并在沿海地区加速建造液化天然气接收终端、天然气管道和贮存设施。​

张国宝在出席中国船舶工业集团公司在京召开的液化天然气（ＬＮＧ）船型发布会时告诉记者，２００９年我国进口了约３５０万吨液化天然气，折合５０亿立方米天然气，相当于去年全国天然气总消费量８５０亿立方米的近６％。​

Zhang attended the China State Shipbuilding Corporation, held in Beijing liquefied natural gas (LNG) ship conference, told reporters that in 2009 China imported about 350 million tons of liquefied natural gas, equivalent to 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas, equivalent to the total consumption of natural gas last year, volume of 85 billion cubic meters of nearly 6%.

进口液化天然气对国内天然气供应起到了一定的补充作用，同时也起到了调节天然气供应峰谷的作用。​
