(Wumeng Xinbao reporter Zhang Pairui and intern Tang Yusu) In order to further strengthen the epidemic prevention and control work, improve prevention and emergency response capabilities, in accordance with the provincial and municipal epidemic prevention and control requirements, on February 1, the Shuicheng District People’s Hospital launched an out-of-hospital consultation Emergency drills for returning personnel from high-risk areas.
Staff from the hospital's medical department, hospital clinic, emergency department, and pre-examination and triage related departments participated in the drill. The exercise simulated the entire process of out-of-hospital outpatient visits, emergency response, test results, transfer, and management of personnel returning from medium- and high-risk areas. Emergency department staff used negative pressure ambulances to receive patients from high-risk areas who had fever and had close contact history. After the patients were handed over to the pre-check triage, the medical staff collected the patient’s epidemiological history in detail. The patient collects throat swabs and blood samples, and performs CT and ECG examinations. The patients are guided to the negative pressure ward for isolation, observation and treatment, and wait for the results of the examination. At the same time, the nucleic acid collectors transport the nucleic acid samples to the PCR laboratory.
During the exercise, the medical staff who were in close contact with the patients and their test specimens strictly adopted three-level protective measures, and the killers killed the whole process.
Through the drill, the ability of medical staff in Shuicheng District to prevent and control the epidemic has been further improved. The New Coronary Pneumonia Response and Treatment Leading Group will continue to strengthen the dynamic management of emergency response plans, improve and perfect the emergency response plan system, normalize epidemic prevention and control, and make medical staff highly vigilant.
