China - Shanghai CDC says hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) increased 74% over this time last year, also more severe cases - November 28, 2016

There has been a huge increase hand, foot, and mouth cases recently in Shanghai. The virus causing the outbreak is COX-A6. The severe cases are caused by EV71. There are many children with complications including: pneumonia, liver damage, and myocarditis.
