The areas of Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Hebei, Tianjin, and Bejing, at least, were affected by recent floods. The number of affected is reported to be more than 30 million people. The number of dead is not mentioned in this article. There are many collapsed houses, broken sewer systems, and dead animals which has increased the risk of disease. There is a nationwide campaign called "Sunflower Love Action" to donate disinfectant cleaners to victims of the disaster.
