Qilu Hospital of Shandong University went to Qingdao to carry out 5G+ emergency rescue maritime exercise
On the morning of July 13, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University and the National Deep Sea Base Management Center conducted a 5G+ emergency rescue maritime exercise. During the event, the hospital's expert team boarded the "Deep Sea No. 1" research vessel to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation training and free clinic services for the research team members and crew members on board. Chen Yuguo, President of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Zhang Chunlei, Director of the National Deep Sea Base Management Center, Han Hui, Vice President of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Hong Tanjie, Deputy Secretary of the National Deep Sea Base Management Center, and relevant staff from both sides attended the event.
The 5G intelligent emergency first aid platform built by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University can provide 24-hour uninterrupted intelligent emergency first aid and intelligent psychological services for ocean expedition teams, realizing the all-round rescue mode of "calling is first aid, first aid is consultation". With the help of this platform, various physiological data and disease analysis results collected on-site can be transmitted to the hospital in real time, and the expert team can conduct multidisciplinary consultation immediately. At the same time, relying on the emergency first aid model independently developed by the hospital, it assists in on-site rescue work, truly realizing the "one-click call for help, real-time consultation" that transcends time and space limitations, effectively solving the "isolated island dilemma" of ocean medical care, achieving an efficient rescue state of "calling for help is responding", and expanding the golden rescue radius to the global high seas, providing key medical guarantees for the implementation of the "deep sea power" strategy.
Wei Shujian, deputy director of the emergency department of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, introduced that relying on the 5G intelligent emergency first aid platform, the hospital can provide all-weather "double intelligent escort" for ocean-going scientific expedition teams: on the one hand, through the 5G maritime satellite link, the vital signs and injury images of the scientific expedition team members are transmitted back to the hospital in real time, and the expert team immediately initiates a multidisciplinary consultation, realizing one-click call for emergency treatment and real-time multi-party video consultation; on the other hand, the psychological intelligence system developed by the platform can simultaneously analyze voice micro-expressions, provide early warning of the crew's anxiety and depression risks, and provide them with professional psychological escort.

Shi Lei, head nurse of pre-hospital emergency care at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, said that the deep-sea research environment is highly risky. This training activity covers CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) + AED, trauma first aid, and first aid treatment for foreign body obstruction in the airway. The team members have mastered these basic rescue skills through learning, and everyone can become the guardian of life safety, thereby timely and effectively resolving potential risks and ensuring the smooth completion of deep-sea research missions.
