  On November 9, some netizens reported that students at Yuying Experimental School in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province showed symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and fatigue, and were suspected of food poisoning.
  According to Jimu News, a student at Yuying Experimental School vomited in the classroom on November 5 from the Ouhai District Education Bureau, to which the school belongs. Staff from the bureau, along with staff from the Municipal Supervision Bureau, Health and Health Bureau and other relevant departments, went to the school to investigate the situation. The investigation found that 11 students had similar vomiting symptoms, and the students are currently in stable condition. It is initially suspected that the cause is the Norovirus , and the disease control department has completed the sampling work and is awaiting the test results.

The possibility of transmission through food is low, but the possibility of transmission through contact is extremely high.


A primary school in Hubei Province suspended classes due to Norovirus
  On November 5, Zhejiang Road Primary School in Zhangwan District, Shiyan City, Hubei Province issued a notice stating that due to the impact of the Norovirus, the school immediately suspended classes from the afternoon of the 5th (Tuesday) and switched to online teaching, resuming classes on November 11. On November 6, staff from the Zhangwan District Education Bureau confirmed that the Norovirus had infected three classes in the school.

18 students in a primary school in Yunnan were infected
  On October 17, some students at Yingpanshan Primary School in Yixiang Town, Simao District, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, developed symptoms such as vomiting and abdominal pain and were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. After testing, it was initially determined that they were infected with the Norovirus. As of 16:00 on the 18th, 18 students met the case definition, and all of them had mild symptoms.


48 children infected in a kindergarten in Xi'an, Shaanxi
  On October 15, the joint investigation and disposal working group of Yanta District, Xi'an reported that on October 11, many children in Shicheng Pinge Kindergarten had vomiting and diarrhea. As of October 15, 48 children have been confirmed to be infected with norovirus.
  At a press conference held by the National Health Commission on November 6, Peng Zhibin, a researcher at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, introduced that recently, some places have reported an increasing trend of norovirus infection , which is one of the common pathogens that cause acute gastroenteritis.
  Recently, disease control departments in Beijing, Henan, Zhejiang, Guangdong and other places have also issued reminders that acute infectious diarrhea caused by Norovirus has entered the peak period of incidence, so please take precautions.

Multiple infection pathways, no specific medicine
  Norovirus, formerly known as Norwalk virus, belongs to the Caliciviridae family and is the most common pathogen causing acute gastroenteritis. Schools and childcare institutions are places where people gather and there is a high incidence of Norovirus infection. According to experts from the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Norovirus is highly contagious and has a variety of transmission routes. Norovirus acute gastroenteritis can occur throughout the year, with a high incidence in autumn and winter, also known as "winter vomiting disease". There is currently no specific medicine or vaccine available.
