Pudong New Area said: This morning, Pudong New Area People’s Hospital reported a suspected case of new coronary pneumonia in the fever clinic. After review by the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the nucleic acid test result was positive. Combined with clinical and imaging findings and laboratory nucleic acid test results, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia. Relevant departments of the city and district acted immediately to form a team of joint circulation experts, conduct a comprehensive epidemiological investigation, and investigate and track relevant personnel. The relevant situation is reported as follows:
Case Wang Moumou, male, 51 years old, at 13:45 on November 8 due to fever, nasal congestion, fatigue and other symptoms, he rode an electric bicycle alone to the fever clinic of Pudong New Area People’s Hospital for treatment. He was admitted to the hospital with a temperature of 37.5 degrees, lung CT showed both lungs There were multiple ground glass samples, and the case was kept in the fever clinic of the hospital for isolation and observation in accordance with the standardized procedures that night. On the morning of the 9th, after consultation with experts, he was transferred to the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center for isolation and treatment.
According to the case's self-report, he has been carrying out the porter work at the Cargo Terminal of the West Airline Division of Pudong Airport since April 8. He said that he had no history of living in high-risk areas in the 14 days before the onset of illness, no history of contact with people infected with the new coronavirus, and no history of medical treatment in other medical institutions in the past 3 months.
The case's residence in Shanghai is Yingqian Village, Jiang Town Community, Zhuqiao Town, Pudong New District. Epidemiological investigations showed that, in addition to the workplace, the case visited Jiangzhen Baipinhui, Jiangzhen Wanxia Road Vegetable Market, and Miaojing Road Social Security Center within 14 days. At present, the above-mentioned places have been closed for management and terminal disinfection.
As of 17:00 on November 9, after investigation, the case has 26 close contacts including family members and colleagues in the unit. At present, all centralized isolation medical observations have been implemented, and the first nucleic acid sampling has been completed. The nucleic acid test results of 23 close contacts were negative, of which 4 family members were all negative, 16 colleagues were all negative, and 3 market-related personnel were negative. The remaining 3 market-related personnel are still waiting for the test results.
181 people in close contact have been investigated, 106 of whom have been under centralized isolation medical observation, and the remaining 75 are in closed loop transfer.
So far, food, articles, environment, etc. have been sampled in relevant places. A total of 462 samples have been collected, and 127 nucleic acid tests have been completed, all with negative results.
