China - National Health Commission: Claims a COVID-19 cure rate of 94.3% ?- June 7, 2020

From The National Health Commission - in a news conference about their "White Paper", which is a document describing their process in handling the pandemic, they claim a cure rate of 94.3%. Does this mean a fatality rate of 5.7%?

From the NHC report dated June 11:

78361 discharged cases
4634 deaths
83057 confirmed cases
750487 close contacts were tracked

As of May 31 (the date cited above in post 2) the China National Health Committee total case number on its daily report was 83,017 total cumulative cases, including 78,307 discharged from care and 4,643 deaths. This implies only 67 people under care and/or hospitalized at that time.

It appears that the case fatality rate of publicly acknowledged cumulative cases per the daily NHC on May 31 is 5.59%. It appears China is consistent in their reporting range for a COVID-19 case fatality rate at 5.6% - 5.7%.
