With the spring breeze blowing strong, the expedition sets sail. On March 9th, the departure ceremony for the joint cross-regional exercise between Jilin University Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital National Emergency Medical Rescue Base and Qionghai was successfully held. A convoy of 15 medical emergency vehicles from the National Emergency Medical Rescue Base (Jilin) Mobile Hospital stood in neat formation, and a team of medical experts, carrying responsibility and commitment, was ready to depart. They will travel across mountains and rivers to Qionghai, Hainan, to strengthen the life-saving line through practical exercises, demonstrate the true colors of medical professionals through cross-regional collaboration, and write a new chapter in the advancement of emergency medical rescue in the new era.

With the approval of the Health Commissions of Jilin Province and Hainan Province, the mobile hospital of the National Emergency Medical Rescue Base of Jilin University Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital conducted a joint cross-regional exercise in Hainan Province. The National Emergency Medical Rescue Base is a crucial safeguard for the lives and health of the people. The mobile hospital is the core force of the base, a "lifeboat on wheels." This deployment is not only a practical test of the base's achievements but also a comprehensive assessment of the hospital's emergency response capabilities, long-range deployment capabilities, collaborative combat capabilities, and the overall quality of its personnel.

After the order to deploy was announced, the training team was in high spirits, and 15 mobile vehicles obeyed the command and started moving in sequence, officially commencing this cross-regional emergency medical rescue drill.

Focusing on practical training to improve rescue capabilities
The Jilin University-Japan Friendship Hospital National Emergency Medical Rescue Base is the "national team" and "shock force" for the country to respond to major public emergencies and safeguard people's lives and health. Mobile hospitals are a key support for the National Emergency Medical Rescue Base's rapid response, multi-dimensional deployment, and efficient treatment. This joint Jilin-Hainan cross-regional exercise is a concrete action to thoroughly implement the national deployment requirements for strengthening emergency response capabilities. It aims to further test contingency plans, refine mechanisms, hone the team, and enhance capabilities through realistic, high-intensity, and cross-regional joint exercises, forging a steel-like rescue force that is "ready to be summoned, capable of fighting, and guaranteed to win."

The emergency medical vehicle convoy participating in this exercise consists of 15 vehicles, including mobile CT scanners, surgical vehicles, intensive care unit vehicles, oxygen generators, 5G negative pressure ambulances, and communication command vehicles. It will travel south, covering more than 3,700 kilometers and traversing 10 provinces (municipalities), to establish a cross-regional north-south linkage emergency medical rescue lifeline to protect the people of Jilin and Hainan and migratory bird populations.
