Jianghua County People's Hospital launches emergency drill for the prevention and control of new crown pneumonia

In order to effectively prevent and control the new crown pneumonia epidemic, and comprehensively improve the emergency response capacity of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County People's Hospital for public health emergencies, on the afternoon of April 15th, Jianghua People's Hospital organized a practical drill for the prevention and control of new crown pneumonia, Central South University Xiangya Dr. Zhou Pengcheng, deputy director of the Infection Control Center of the Third Hospital, observed and guided the exercise throughout the whole process. The drill strictly followed the emergency response process, and activated the emergency plan after a suspected new coronary pneumonia patient was found in a general ward. Each department has a clear division of labor, each perform its own duties, and work closely together to successfully complete the drill procedures such as remote consultation, epidemic report, emergency response, isolation and placement, transfer, and terminal disinfection. At the end of the exercise, Vice President Wu Guanghan affirmed the effect of the exercise and put forward rectification opinions on the problems that existed in the exercise. Dr. Zhou Pengcheng analyzed, summarized and corrected the deficiencies discovered during the exercise, requiring that no matter daily medical management or epidemic prevention and control, we must establish the "bottom line" and "red line" awareness of hospital infection prevention and control. Through the exercise, the responsibilities and tasks of various departments in epidemic prevention and control will be further consolidated, and the awareness of epidemic prevention and control of medical staff will be improved, as well as the command coordination, rapid response, and efficient handling capabilities in response to public health emergencies.
