China influenza vaccine cause of death

04 of January 2010, 08:21 Beijing, Jan 4 (Prensa Latina) China's Health authorities ruled Wednesday that a domestically produced vaccine against influenza A (H1N1) killed two people, reiterating the effectiveness of this immunogen.
THE director of the Emergency Response Office of the Ministry of Health, Liang Wannian, told a news conference at the close of last year, 49 million 910 thousand people were immunized against the new pandemic and in every million, only one case reported with serious side effects.
According to the official, this proportion is similar to data recorded by the World Health Organization. Liang gave no details on those deaths.
The mainland of China reported 659 deaths associated with the above condition since the beginning of October until last Saturday.
The country these days intensifies preventive work before the drop in temperatures and the approach of Spring Festival (mid February), when millions of people move to their hometowns for family reunions.
