Infection of H7N9 Influenza in Hunan Province

[FONT=&#24494]As at 17:00 on January 17, 2017, Hunan Province in 2017 were reported cases of human infection with H7N9 influenza 10 cases, 4 cases of death. Experts advise, with the Spring Festival approaching, frequent trading of live poultry, the public attention to prevention.[/FONT]

We have already noted the following cases/deaths as reported in 2017:


#847 - Male, 36/35, [Zhu], contact with poultry, hospitalized in critical condition, Zhuzhou City, Hunan province CHP rpt 10/1/17

#940 - Male, 57, [Yao], poultry contact, hospitalized in critical condition, Yiyang, Hunan province CHP rpt 12/1/17

#949 - Female, 36, [Zhang], hospitalized in critical condition, contact with poultry, Hengyang City, Hunan province

#958-962 - This line adds 5 cases and 3 deaths. Hunan province announced case #949 and referred to a total of 8 cases/3 deaths for 2017 on Jan 16. We have 3 of those cases listed above. 3 Death


I will add a new line for the additional cases/death. This is the 2nd update by Hunan province in 3 days.
