Party building and joint efforts build bridges, bringing expert consultations to police stations. On September 4th, the Hubei Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station and Wuhan Central Hospital jointly launched the "Police-Medical Collaboration • Healthy Border" themed event. Through site visits, Party building seminars, health lectures, and live-streamed consultations, they established a new police-medical integration model of "health management + joint Party building," delivering high-quality medical resources to the front lines of the border and genuinely caring for the physical and mental health of border inspection police officers and staff.

That morning, a delegation of leaders and experts from Wuhan Central Hospital visited the Hubei Airport Group Exhibition Center, the Wuhan Immigration Inspection Station Command Center, and the Police History Museum. They gained a brief understanding of the duties and responsibilities of border inspection officers, their working environment, and the unique characteristics of their work, as well as the psychological and physical stress they face. In the subsequent Party building and professional exchange meeting, both sides introduced their respective Party building characteristics and professional work, and conducted in-depth discussions on new models for joint Party building between police and medical personnel. They also established long-term cooperation mechanisms in areas such as health checkups, first aid training, green channels for medical treatment, and mental health services, laying the foundation for further in-depth cooperation.
At 10:00 AM, a special lecture and live-streamed consultation on "Healthy Border" was held, combining online and offline methods. The main venue was located in the multi-functional hall of the Wuhan Border Inspection Station, with branch venues in various grassroots units broadcasting simultaneously. Experts from the Department of General Medicine, Department of Cardiology, and Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Wuhan Central Hospital gave lectures on different health topics, including mental health and sleep management, prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, and autumn health preservation, providing border inspection officers with a series of vivid "health classes." Grassroots officers participated in real time via video link. After the lecture, the expert team set up a "consultation station" on-site, providing one-on-one interpretation and dietary and exercise guidance for officers' abnormal indicators in their physical examination reports and their daily concerns about occupational disease prevention.
According to reports, this "Police-Medical Collaboration for a Healthy Border" activity, using joint Party building as a link, precisely connects high-quality medical resources with the occupational health needs of border inspection personnel. It is not only a pragmatic exploration of police-community integration but also a way to explore a normalized service path for caring for the physical and mental health of border guards. Both sides will take this collaboration as an opportunity to continuously deepen the content of their cooperation, allowing more frontline police officers to benefit from comprehensive health services, and building a solid health barrier to safeguard the security of the national border.
