Notice on prohibiting live poultry trading in the market
In order to conscientiously implement the deployment of the Provincial Party Committee, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government on the prevention and control of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic and the "Emergency Notice of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial Government Office on the Prevention and Control of the New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic" (Su Office of the People’s Republic of China (2020) No. 10), “Notice of the Municipal Party Committee Office and Municipal Government Office on Establishing a Working Mechanism for Joint Prevention and Control of Pneumonia Epidemics Infected by New Coronavirus” (Huaiban Chuan (2020) No. 10), and “The Municipal Patriotic and Health Association's Notice on Issuing The "Huai'an City's Implementation Plan for the Implementation of the Patriotic Sanitation Campaign" (Huaiaiwei [2021] No. 3) requires that people’s lives, health and safety be effectively guaranteed. With the consent of the municipal government, from now on, the city’s urban built-up area farmer’s market , It is strictly forbidden to sell live poultry in the market and slaughter live poultry on site, and prohibit illegal wildlife trading .
Operators who are still selling live poultry in the market and slaughtering live poultry after the issuance of this notice shall be ordered to stop their operations immediately; those who refuse to stop their operations shall be investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law; if a crime is constituted, they shall be transferred to the public security organs in accordance with the law.
This notice will be implemented from the date of issuance.
