There has been a massive loss of farm animals due to the recent floods in China. In Anhui province the reported loss is 80,000 pigs, 12 million poultry. Hebei province the reported loss is 80,000 pigs, 3.6 million poultry. In Jiangxi the loss is 5.2 million poultry.
Anhui and Jiangxi governments have issued urgent warning not to prevent dead and decayed meat into the food supply.
