Luwang News, March 10th - In order to further promote the construction of "Safe Hospitals" and enhance the collaborative response capabilities to sudden safety incidents, the Dongcheng District Community Health Service Center recently conducted a joint police-medical emergency drill with the local police station. The drill tested the effectiveness of multi-departmental collaboration in a realistic scenario, safeguarding the safety of medical staff and patients.

At the drill site, a simulated "sudden conflict" occurred in the area surrounding the center. Upon receiving the order, both police and medical personnel quickly sprang into action: officers in black uniforms, armed with batons and shields, rapidly established a cordon and used professional techniques to control the "involved personnel"; meanwhile, medical personnel in white coats immediately activated emergency response mechanisms, observing the situation, preparing medical supplies, and being ready to treat the injured at any time. Both sides had clear divisions of labor and worked seamlessly together; from controlling the scene to transferring the injured, each step was tightly coordinated, tense yet orderly.

"This drill is not a 'performance,' but a preparation for 'real combat,'" the center's director explained. This drill focused on the core of "police-medical collaboration," specifically testing the efficiency of coordination between the two sides in information sharing, on-site response, and medical rescue. On-site, in addition to frontline police officers and medical personnel, numerous staff members in white coats observed and learned throughout the exercise, refining their emergency response plans through practical debriefing.

"Only through joint training in peacetime and coordinated action in emergencies can we be 'deployed and win' in critical moments." A police officer who participated in the exercise said that this cooperation has further improved the communication channels between the police and medical personnel, and that the cooperation mechanism will be further deepened in the future to transform the results of the exercise into practical capabilities to protect the safety of the public.

This joint police-medical drill not only served as a comprehensive assessment of the emergency response capabilities of the Dongcheng District Community Health Service Center, but also injected new momentum into building a grassroots emergency response system that is "rapidly responsive, efficiently coordinated, and effectively supported" through the combined efforts of the police and medical teams. The center will use this drill as an opportunity to regularly conduct multi-scenario, multi-departmental joint training to effectively strengthen the safety net of the jurisdiction and enhance residents' sense of security.
