[FONT=宋体]From 0-24 o'clock on December 30, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 195 new confirmed cases. [/FONT][FONT=宋体]Among them, 29 were imported from abroad (9 in Shanghai, 4 in Tianjin, 3 in Guangdong, 3 in Guangxi, 3 in Sichuan, 2 in Hunan, 2 in Yunnan, 1 in Liaoning, 1 in Zhejiang, 1 in Fujian), including 3 Cases changed from asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (1 in Tianjin, 1 in Guangdong, 1 in Sichuan); 166 local cases (165 in Shaanxi, including 161 in Xi’an, 2 in Xianyang, and 2 in Yan’an; Shanxi 1 case in Yuncheng City), including 1 case (in Shanxi) from asymptomatic infection to confirmed case. [/FONT][FONT=宋体]There were no new deaths. [/FONT][FONT=宋体]One new suspected case was an imported case (in Shanghai).[/FONT]
Notice the date of these articles and then the date that Xi 'An was locked down very hard. I understand they are saying it is rodent borne in the articles below. May be just as they describe. But the flu/hemorrhagic outbreak in Brazil makes me go hmmm. It may very well not have any connection what so ever, but I am starting to look for flu/hemorrhagic disease and this came up. Read farther up in this thread about the lockdown, quarantines and removals to quarantine. Does some of this seem a bit extreme for even China?
