In strict accordance with the "Working Plan for the Transfer of Pneumonia Cases of New Coronavirus Infection", special transfer protective materials such as life support equipment, negative pressure chambers, and protective clothing are prepared, and the patients are transported by helicopter with standard three-level protective equipment.
During the transfer, the Wudang Mountain Gymnasium (simulated shelter hospital) also asked the Shiyan City Traffic Police Detachment for help in time, requesting the opening of the green channel and coordinating the security of the helicopter landing site; the Wudang Mountain Traffic Police Detachment arranged for the traffic police to escort the ambulance to the Wudangshan International Martial Arts School Plaza, assist in maintaining the security of helicopter takeoff and landing.
At 3:20 in the afternoon, the helicopter took off from Shiyan Medical and Health Plaza, and landed at Wudangshan International Martial Arts School Square 15 minutes later. It is understood that as a useful supplement to first aid methods in inland mountainous cities, on August 31, 2016, Shiyan City’s 120 Air Medical Rescue Base was established in the Municipal People’s Hospital. More than 20 cases of aerial emergency rescue including severely wounded people in Shennongjia forest area above 3000 meters. This actual combat exercise also added another powerful protective barrier for the normalization of epidemic prevention and control in our city.
