As of press time, the red warning signal for heavy rain is in effect in Duanzhou District, Dinghu District, Gaoyao District, and Sihui City of Zhaoqing . Previously, the Guangzhou Meteorological Disaster Emergency Command Center launched the Guangzhou Meteorological Disaster (Heavy Rain) Level IV Emergency Response. The Guangzhou Meteorological Observatory predicts that Guangzhou will be cloudy with heavy to torrential rain from 05:00 to 08:00 today. Currently, Guangzhou has reached the standard for lifting the meteorological disaster (heavy rain) emergency response. The Guangzhou Meteorological Disaster Emergency Command Center decided to lift the Guangzhou Meteorological Disaster (Heavy Rain) Level IV Emergency Response from 07:17 on the 3rd.
According to the Guangzhou Meteorological Observatory, there are thunderstorms in Zengcheng District and Conghua District , with heavy rain in some areas and light to moderate rain in other areas. At present, the strong thunderstorm clouds are gradually moving out of the eastern part of Zengcheng. It is expected that during the rush hour from 7 to 9 am today, it will be cloudy in Guangzhou City with moderate rain and the temperature will be 23-24℃. Visibility is low during rain and the roads are slippery. Please pay attention to safety when traveling.
According to the Guangzhou Meteorological Bureau's early warning and defense guidelines, when a yellow warning signal for heavy rain, thunderstorm and gale is in effect, schools in the town or street where the school is located can delay starting school; when an orange warning signal for heavy rain is in effect, school should be delayed.
Parents and students need to pay close attention to weather changes and meteorological warning signals. If there is heavy wind and rain, going to school may be dangerous. Students can arrange their own school time and return to school after the safety hazards are eliminated. The school will not record students as being late or absent.
